A short while ago, we announced Office 365 Planner that provides an easy, visual method to organize team work on Office 365. Planner is designed for your team to make it easy to create plans, organize and assign their work, share files, chat about who is working on what and gaining updated information regarding their improvement.

Today we share a new report with you. The preview of Planner has been started to be transferred to the accounts for Office 365 clients. The managers who have joined the first release program, will get an e-mail that explains how to install the preview when it is available for subscription. After the system admins apply the required steps, the users can start to use Planner from Office 365 main page.

When will Planner be available on my Office 365 subscription?
Starting from today, running the preview of Planner will be released for Office 365 first release customers; the eligible subscribers’ IT managers should operate a few steps to install the preview. We predict that the running of the preview, which will include all the first release customers around the world, will be completed within a few weeks. We anticipate that Planner will be released for commercial and academic customers who meet the qualifications in general, in 2016.

Does Planner work integrated with Office 365 Groups?
Office 365 Groups is an infrastructure service that helps individuals easily create their general or private groups. Every new plan created on Planner, automatically creates a new Office Group. Besides, a related plan is sent to every Office 365 Group that existed before.
